Today, 30th January 2026, the Hon. Sule Tekile Women Support Group paid a solidarity visit to Mrs. Agnes Sule Ginawula Tekile at her residence in Kiri. The group is solely organized by women and focuses on issues that concern women in society.
Considering the immense societal contributions and continuity brought by Hon. Sule Tekile to his people—not only in Shelleng but also in Guyuk—these women have identified him as the most promising candidate capable of winning the 2027 election to represent the good people of Guyuk and Shelleng in the House.
During the visit, topical issues were discussed, and synergy was built around the rising political trajectory of Hon. Sule Tekile. The women in attendance assured him of massive support and votes come the 2027 elections.
In her address, Mrs. Agnes Tekile appealed to the women to remain steadfast and work hard towards the political success of her husband. She also reaffirmed her commitment to supporting women, particularly if she and her husband are given the opportunity to serve in government.
She further expressed her appreciation to the women for finding time to leave their various engagements to stand in solidarity with her.
Shortly after the meeting, the gathering ended on a joyful note, with merriment, photographs, and the exchange of pleasantries.
