Hon. Sule Ginawula Takile warmly welcomed three first-class chiefs — Amna Shelleng, Kwandi Nunguraya, and Amna Shani — at the Mendamo Cultural Festival held in Kiri.
Hon. Takile, who was among the earliest dignitaries to arrive at Deremina, the cultural arena, received the royal guests with great celebration and enthusiasm. This year’s festival marked a significant return after a four-year hiatus following the demise of the former king and a series of chieftaincy disputes that had delayed the event.
As the first person crowned Garkuwan Kiri by the Kiri Chiefdom, Hon. Takile demonstrated deep respect and loyalty to his people and traditions.
He, along with his convoy, arrived early at the palace to welcome all dignitaries and participants attending the Mendamo Cultural Festival, which also followed the coronation of the new King of Kiri.
Hon. Takile remained at the venue throughout the festivities, ensuring that all guests and traditional leaders were properly received until their departure.
Congratulations
