Today marks a significant and symbolic moment for the good people of Guyuk/Shelleng Constituency, as Hon. Ginawula Sule Tekile arrives with a large and energetic entourage to honor the grand reception of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri into the All Progressives Congress (APC).
It will be recalled that last month, Governor Fintiri of Adamawa State officially resigned his membership from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and joined the APC. This political shift has since generated widespread reactions across the state and beyond.
The transition is strongly associated with the popular slogan “Kafarka-Kafarmu,” widely embraced by the Governor’s loyal supporters. Among the leading advocates of this movement is Hon. Sule Ginawula Tekile, a second-time aspirant for the Guyuk/Shelleng Federal Constituency seat, who has remained steadfast in his loyalty to the Governor since the 2023 general elections.
At the Mamman Ribadu Square in Adamawa State, the venue of the grand reception, Hon. Tekile is visibly present, moving among supporters who are singing and chanting slogans such as “Sai Garkuwan Kiri” to energize the atmosphere and celebrate the Governor’s entrance into the APC.
Hon. Tekile, known for his close political alignment with Governor Fintiri, expressed optimism about the massive turnout. He was accompanied by a strong contingent of supporters and associates, reflecting his grassroots connection and political strength. The event witnessed a mammoth crowd, filling the square from morning till afternoon in what can best be described as a historic gathering.
Hon. Tekile believes that this moment will usher in a new political chapter for the Guyuk/Shelleng Constituency. He expressed confidence that the people will soon begin to enjoy the true dividends of democracy through purposeful representation.
He also extended heartfelt appreciation to his supporters—both those present at the event and those unable to attend—urging them to remain united and committed to the shared vision, as success is increasingly within reach.
Finally, he called on the good people of Guyuk/Shelleng Constituency to support his aspiration in the forthcoming election, emphasizing the need to bring an end to the long-standing political challenges facing the constituency.
