A call for Hon. Adamu Atiku Abubakar, Sardaunan Ganye, to contest is both welcome and well-deserved, considering the indelible track record and legacy he left during his tenure as Commissioner for Works and Energy in the Adamawa State Government.
Looking at the outstanding performance of the Sardaunan Ganye, one cannot deny the fact that if he contests for the position of Senator representing Southern Adamawa State, it would be an easy victory regardless of his opposition, as he has already built a strong reputation since his time as Commissioner for Works.
Hon. Adamu is a unifying figure who carries everyone along without any form of discrimination, not to mention his immeasurable contributions to the Adamawa State Government during his service as Commissioner.
Even after leaving office, Hon. Adamu has not relented in his efforts to support the needy. He has continued to sponsor children from underprivileged backgrounds to various universities within and outside Nigeria.
Hon. Adamu remains a widely respected figure with the charisma and zeal to win any position he chooses to contest, owing to his immense contributions to humanity at social, infrastructural, and economic levels.
We have witnessed how Hon. Adamu Atiku has generously distributed cars, motorcycles, and other forms of empowerment, irrespective of tribe or religion within the state. Many beneficiaries have become self-reliant, overcoming basic challenges and contributing positively to their respective communities through his empowerment initiatives.
I wish to seize this opportunity to call on the people of Adamawa State, particularly those of the Southern Senatorial District, to support Hon. Adamu Atiku Abubakar under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the forthcoming 2027 elections. This will enable him to continue empowering our youth, as they are the future of our generation, and Hon. Adamu Atiku is in the best position to help make that future brighter.
